Villa Tortolos Las Terrenas

Privacy policy

Last updated 16 October 2026.

This site is run by the owners of Villa Tortolos. It has no accounts, no newsletter and no advertising, so there isn’t much to say — but here is all of it.

When you send an inquiry

The inquiry form doesn’t send anything itself. When you press send, it opens your own email app with a message to stay@villatortolos.com, filled in with your dates, the number of guests, your name, your email address and anything you wrote. Nothing leaves your device until you send that email yourself.

We use what’s in your email to answer you, give you a rate and, if you book, arrange your stay. We don’t add you to a mailing list, and we don’t sell or pass on your details — except where it’s needed for something you’ve asked us to arrange, such as an airport transfer.

We keep inquiry emails for as long as we need them to handle your inquiry and any stay that follows, and we delete them sooner if you ask.

Analytics

We use Cloudflare Web Analytics to count visits and see which pages people read. It doesn’t use cookies and doesn’t follow you to other sites. It records things like the page you opened, the site that sent you here, your browser and your country — not your name or email address. See Cloudflare’s privacy policy.

Hosting

The site is hosted by Cloudflare. Like any web host, Cloudflare processes your IP address to deliver the pages and to protect the site from attacks.

The map on Getting Here

The map on the Getting Here page loads its tiles from OpenStreetMap, so when you open that page your browser fetches them from OpenStreetMap’s servers, which see your IP address. See the OpenStreetMap Foundation’s privacy policy.

Google Maps and WhatsApp

The “Open in Google Maps” link and the WhatsApp chat button take you to Google and WhatsApp. Nothing is sent to either until you click; once you do, their own privacy policies apply.

Cookies

This site doesn’t set any cookies and doesn’t store anything in your browser.

Your rights

You can ask us what we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it — write to stay@villatortolos.com. If you live in the EU, you can also complain to your local data protection authority.

Changes

If anything here changes — if we add a booking system, for example — we’ll update this page and the date at the top.
